This light-sensitive origami dress modulates its openness with ambient illumination. In brighter settings, pleated panels unfold to create volume and exposure; in darker light, they contract into a denser, protective shell. An Arduino microcontroller with light sensors reads the environment and drives the articulated folds, turning the garment into a soft interface between wearer and context. By mapping light to posture—reveal vs. shield—the piece explores “Augmented Body”: clothing as responsive behavior rather than decoration, bridging apparel design and basic embedded technologies.
