*SZTU Environmental Design Required Course 2025*

This course introduces advanced digital workflows for landscape and environmental design, integrating parametric modeling, environmental analysis, and AI-assisted visualization. Students learn to use Rhino, Grasshopper, and related plugins (Bison, Ladybug) to analyze site conditions and generate adaptive design forms. The course further explores algorithmic design logics—such as Voronoi, Metaball, and field-based generation—and their potential to shape responsive spatial systems.

The curriculum culminates in an intensive design exercise combining computational design and AIGC visualization. It asked students to design site-specific landscape interventions—using algorithmic logics such as Voronoi or field-based morphogenesis, then extending them through Stable Diffusion–based visualization, bridging data-driven form generation with speculative atmosphere and material expression.
